WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

You can either pay by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or do a bank transfer into our British or South African bank accounts. If you would like to take up this option, please contact us for our banking details.

WHAT GIFT WRAPPING SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

As part of our services all gifts bought through our website will be gift wrapped in simply but attractive gift wrapping, appropriate to the occasion and recipient, at no cost to you.

Gifts are labelled with a branded sticker on which we hand write who the gift is for and from. When you go through check out you will have the opportunity to tell us what you would like to write on each gift label sticker. Due to space constraints on the sticker please keep this short.

 

If you would like a different gift wrapping option such as a beautiful gift bag, at an additional fee, please search by 'gift bag' in the search function, select how many you would like to order and add this to your cart. During check out you will have the opportunity to explain to us which gift(s) the gift bag is for. 

Kindly note when a gift bag is requested for items that are couriered, the gift will be gift wrapped as usual, and a folded gift bag and sheet of tissue paper will be included in the box separately so as not to damage it. In this case it may be better for the gift to be sent to a friend of family member for them to make up the gift bag before giving it to the recipient.

Below are selection of the types of gift bags we use. We use a range of gift bags and will select a gift bag that best suits the gift's size, the occasion and the recipient. 

WHAT GREETINGS CARDS DO YOU OFFER?

For Christmas, we are including a free A6 sized South African flavoured Christmas card with each delivery. 

During check out you will have the opportunity to explain to us what you would like us to write inside the blank card on your behalf and we will hand write it for you, kisses and all!

If you would like more than one Christmas card with your delivery there is an additional charge for this. You can add additional Christmas cards to your order by searching by 'Christmas card' in the search function and adding these to you cart.

For birthdays, we also offer a free A6 sized blank on the inside birthday card for you to personalise with your words. You can add additional Birthday cards to your order for an additional fee by searching for 'Birthday card' in the search function and adding these to you cart.

If you would like any other types of greetings cards, we can arrange this as at an additional charge. 

WHAT DELIVERY SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

Included in our fees are courier deliveries across South Africa. This is usually to the door of the recipient, but in some cases, particularly in more rural areas, recipients may have to collect the items from a nearby collection point. We will discuss this with you if this is relevant to your situation.

We will require an address and a phone number for the recipient in case the courier cannot find the address. We are not able to do make surprise deliveries as due to safety concerns in South Africa, when people are not expecting a delivery they sometimes refuse to open the door to the courier or accept the package. If you would like your gift to be a surprise, perhaps have it delivered to a close friend or family member who can deliver it as a surprise.

We ask that you are patient with courier delivery in South Africa. It's a big country and our home delivery services are not as well developed as they are in other countries around the world, therefore it can take a bit longer for items to be delivered. 

Some items that tend not to travel well, such as potted plants, are currently only delivered in the Cape Town area. This will be clearly listed on the product description.

For special occasion deliveries (in Cape Town or Durban only), we may be able to make an in-personal delivery with gift bags already made up, for which there would be an additional charge. Contact us if you would to discuss this further. 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FROM ORDER TO DELIVERY?

Once we have collated your gifts from our various suppliers, we will gift wrap and label each gift, pack them altogether into a box and courier it to the recipient. As this can take time, depending on what you are ordering, we recommend you order early to avoid disappointment.

If it's just a few gifts it might take 5 to 8 days, but if you are ordering several gifts or a special order gift it could take as much as 2 weeks, or in some cases a bit longer.
